The Help Boards

If you are in the help boards its not surprising if you are looking for some sort of help with the game or forum. A good thing to think about before you ask a question, is that you scan through some of the earlier thread Subjects. Maybe you can find a post about the same problem you are having, and maybe even a solution in it. There's a search bar positioned on the top right side of all the threads, write something related to your problem there, and it will scan posts and threads. But remember!
All game related help in the "Game Help" section and the forum related help threads in the "Forum Help" section.
Another thing to think about is that when you post a new thread. Try to explain what the problem is about in the Subject, not only something like "It's not working" or "Help". This way it will make it both easier for you, and the ones that try to help you to achieve better results in less time. :3 Just keep in mind that you are in fact asking for help here, so you must be able to receive that help and swallow your pride. There's not much point in posting a help thread if you're just going to tell those who try to help you that they're wrong.
Also take note that IN GAME BANS are NOT meant to be discussed on the boards, please refer to a mod/admin in pm form if needed.
A help thread for fixes when it comes to the most common issues can be found Here
Thanks for reading!

Forum Regulations and Guidelines

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

o Respect Each Other

Harassing and/or threatening other players is completely out of the question. Personal attacks on other users, racist, hurtful comments and offensive language directed at other community members will not be tolerated in any way. You are expected to be polite to others at all times and settle conflicts between yourselves in a mature manner. If there is a real problem going on between yourself and another/other users that cannot be solved by simply blocking them, it should be taken up by one of the Community Moderators.

o Use Appropriate Language and Behaviour

The Lost Ferals will be accessed by a wide range of people from all ages and diversities. You should always use age-friendly language and behaviour - in other words, don't curse and please keep any sexual conversations and discussions private.

o Respect the Staff and Their Decisions

The rules have to be enforced somehow, and our Moderators have to do this job to the best of their ability. They work hard making the forum a better place for everyone, and as such if they ask you to do something, you are expected to do it without question. Disrespecting a Moderator or Administrator's decisions and/or actions is out of the question - if a Moderator has believes there is a problem, they are at their complete discretion to do so. That having been said, if you truly feel a Moderator or Administrator has done (or not done) something that you completely and utterly disagree with, then please file a report with evidence explaining so to myself.

o Discussing Bans and Reports

Please do not discuss bans and reports in public. If you have an issue regarding your own or someone else's banning, please take it up in a private message with one of the Community Moderators or myself. Seeking attention over bans will not make it any better for yourself.

o Usernames and Character Names

If someone is found to have an offensive or otherwise inappropriate username or character name, action will be taken and your account will be removed.

o Do Not Spam

We ask that you do not spam the forums in any way, including caps spam, text spam and double-posting. If you are updating one of your own threads to alert others that are subscribed to it, double-posting is acceptable. Otherwise, please just edit your former post. If you cause havoc or unnecessary drama, Moderators are at liberty to warn and possibly ban you at their discretion.

o Off-Topic Posts in Threads

Please don't go off-topic too much in threads. If the discussion takes you on a tangent elsewhere, we can understand that - but posting in a thread about Skype for example, asking for help regarding your game account is unacceptable. Post in the appropriate boards and threads, please.

o Impersonation

Anyone caught impersonating a Staff member, even if just by creating a username that is similar/could be confused with a Staff member's can be found guilty for a serious offense. Impersonation is not a trivial matter and you can be permanently kicked from the The Lost Ferals community.

o Mini-Modding

"Minimod: A regular member that takes it upon themselves to push forum rules and tell everybody how to conduct themselves instead of leaving it up to the mods, usually in an attempt to become a real moderator themselves."

Please don't minimod. Let the Moderators do their jobs - if you witness something that is against the rules, simply report it to one of the Staff and move along quietly. If you would like to apply for a Moderator position, this isn't the way to go about it - refer to the Administration boards.

Game Regulations and Guidelines

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here you will find all the rules regarding the official game. These rules are here for a reason - by signing up, you agree to abide by all of them. If anyone is found breaking any of the regulations here, action will be taken, which can lead to bans from anywhere between a day up to five years. We also reserve the right to ban IPs from accessing the game and forum, and will use a warning-based system to determine permanent bans and account deletions.

If you are in the PG room, you should always use age-friendly language and behaviour - in other words, don't curse and please keep any sexual actions (mating etc.) out of the PG room. In your own rooms and the Mature room, you have a little more liberty this way. Do not use it to offend anyone, however.

o Mature Room

The Mature room is for mature users generally 16+ who do not find cursing offensive. Please keep highly detailed, sexual discussions out of the Shout chat despite this. If you are in the Mature room, we expect you to act as such. It may be more liberal in regards to what you can say, but that does not mean that you can say whatever you please - you should still be polite in regards to other users.

o Respect the Staff and Their Decisions

The rules have to be enforced somehow, and our Moderators have to do this job to the best of their ability. They work hard making the game a better place for everyone, and as such if they ask you to do something, you are expected to do it without question. Disrespecting a Moderator or Administrator's decisions and/or actions is out of the question - if a Moderator has believes there is a problem, they are at their complete discretion to do so. o Usernames and Character Names

If someone is found to have an offensive or otherwise inappropriate username or character name, action will be taken and your account will be removed.

o Do Not Abuse the Chat

The chats are an important, shared space for everyone in the game. We ask that you do not spam the chat in any way, including caps spam, text spam and movie spam. Constant "Trolling" and encouraging others to break the rules is also a punishable offence. If you cause havoc or unnecessary drama within the chats, Moderators are at liberty to warn/kick and ban you at their discretion.

o Territory Claiming

Please don't claim parts of the public map(s) for yourself or your group. They are meant for everyone and we expect users to be mature in this regard.

o Altering Game Files

Do NOT alter any of the files or codes for the game that might affect the maps and/or gameplay. Giving you an advantage or not, the files should remain intact unless you are given a permission to change them. If you are caught doing this you will most likely face a longer ban.

o Impersonation

Anyone caught impersonating a Staff member, even if just by creating a username that is similar/could be confused with a Staff member's can be found guilty for a serious offense. Impersonation is not a trivial matter and you can be permanently kicked from the The Lost Ferals community.

o Mini-Modding
